As Director with OnX Managed Services, Biff Myre partners with organizations – to help them power their business models with highly efficient, regulatory compliant, cost-effective and Secure Managed IT Services (On Client Premise, In Colocation, in OnXs Hosted Sites or Cloud or in the Public Cloud), Security and Virtualization solutions. This includes designing solutions that address cloud hosting, data sharing, 24x7 monitoring, management and protection, information security programs, disaster recovery, high availability replication and clustering, managed IT services and business continuity across diverse platforms and regulated industries. With two decades of expertise, Biff is a recognized subject matter expert, aligning IT strategies with business objectives and providing thought-leading commentary disseminated through various publications, speaking engagements, solution designs, workshops and web seminars. His perspectives and recommendations on availability and systems uptime have been published in at least twelve countries, spanning seven different languages. He has been a member of the ASLRRA’s Technology Committee for 3 years where he has contributed articles and presentations and has worked with The Belt Railway of Chicago for the past 5 years and assisting with technology readiness for PTC. Over the past eight (8) years Myre has been a guest lecturer to financial examiners attending FRB-Chicago’s STREAM (Supervision Technology Risks: Educate, Analyze and Manage) courses on Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity, Vendor Management, and Cloud Computing in Financially Regulated Environments. Over the past few years he has also presented to financial examiners attending training at FINRA and the Conference of State Bank Supervisors National Technology Conference. He holds an M.B.A. from Illinois State University. Biff is also a past Chairperson of the Technology Executives Club’s Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Special Interest Group (BCDR-SIG).
